MSR Announces Major Team Restructure for 2026 Season! New Drivers, Engineers & More! (2026)

MSR Unveils Major Technical Overhaul for the New Season

In a strategic move, the team has announced a series of significant changes to its performance and management structure, setting the stage for a potentially groundbreaking 2026 season.

The first major appointment is Paul Forgie, who will take on the role of team manager. This marks a new era for the team, as Forgie brings a wealth of experience and a fresh perspective to the leadership position.

A pivotal shift occurs with Jack Belotti, who played a crucial role in Nick Percat's performance last season. Belotti will transition into a head of engineering role, overseeing the technical aspects of the team's operations.

The race engineer for the #10 entry, which will be driven by rookie Zach Bates, will be Caleb Mutsaert. Mutsaert's move from car #4, where he engineered Cam Hill last season, showcases the team's commitment to strategic personnel allocation.

Oil Boone, who recently engineered Percat for the last two rounds in 2025, will step up to a permanent race engineer role, working closely with Jack Le Brocq and car #4. This promotion signifies the team's confidence in Boone's capabilities.

MSR has also appointed a new crew chief, with Simon Helps, a former number one mechanic, taking on this critical role. Helps' expertise and leadership will be instrumental in the team's performance.

Other notable changes include Charles Bratt joining as the lead engineer for the team's return to Super2, and Nick Testu, a former commercial executive at Dick Johnson Racing, joining as the head of commercial. These additions demonstrate the team's focus on comprehensive growth.

According to team owner Matt Stone, "2026 is looking like our best year to date. We've made strategic adjustments to our internal structure, aiming to enhance efficiency and deliver even more remarkable results on and off the track. Additionally, we've expanded our team by recruiting talented individuals in key areas to support our growth."

With a renewed focus on technical excellence and strategic personnel management, MSR is poised for a remarkable 2026 season, leaving fans eager to see the team's performance on the track.
