Chattanooga Lookouts Erlanger Park Opener: Tickets Selling Fast! | Baseball 2026 (2026)

The Chattanooga Lookouts: A Hot Ticket for Opening Night

Get ready for a thrilling baseball season opener as the Chattanooga Lookouts are on the brink of a historic sellout! With tickets going live on Tuesday, the response has been nothing short of extraordinary.

As of Wednesday evening, only a mere 109 tickets remained for the inaugural game at Erlanger Park, scheduled for April 14 against the Montgomery Biscuits. The rush for tickets has been so intense that all reserved seating sold out within a day, leaving only concourse passes with berm seating available.

Rich Mozingo, the team's president, predicts a sellout soon, saying, "If not today, then tomorrow. We're incredibly close."

Dan Kopf, the director of marketing, shared that the team sold an impressive 4,000 reserved-seat tickets for the opener, excluding partial plans, season tickets, and group sales. Mozingo added, "We anticipated great demand, but the speed at which it sold out exceeded our expectations. We're thrilled!"

But here's where it gets controversial... The Lookouts' first-day ticket sales have seen a massive surge compared to their previous season at AT&T Field in 2025. While they sold just seven tickets on the first day of sales that year, they smashed that record on Tuesday, selling a whopping 1,911 tickets in the first hour alone!

Mozingo recalls similar surges in ticket sales for opening day in 2000 and 1994. The 2000 surge is understandable, as it marked the opening of AT&T Field. But what about 1994? That year, basketball legend Michael Jordan made his professional baseball debut, and his visit to Chattanooga's Engel Stadium as a Birmingham Baron created a frenzy among fans.

"Of the three, this year's opening is truly spectacular," Mozingo said. "I've been fortunate to be a part of three incredibly cool opening days."

The Lookouts, affiliated with the Cincinnati Reds, will kick off the regular season with road series against the Columbus Clingstones and Birmingham Barons. The highly anticipated home opener against Montgomery is set for 7 p.m. on April 14, marking the start of a six-game series with the Biscuits and one of 69 regular-season games scheduled for Erlanger Park in 2026.

So, are you ready to join the excitement? Ticket prices for the first week of games at Erlanger Park are as follows:

  • Berm (concourse pass): $9
  • Right-field porch: $14
  • Corner reserved: $16
  • Baseline reserved: $18.50
  • Cabana: $19.90
  • Dugout reserved: $20.50
  • Diamond reserved: $22.50

And this is the part most people miss... The Lookouts' journey to Erlanger Park is a story of dedication and community support. With a rich history and a bright future ahead, the team is poised to create unforgettable memories for fans. So, will you be a part of this historic season?
